DK-PROF fireproof doors are based on 3-chamber system MB-78 EI which uses aluminium profiles of 78 mm depth with thermal insert of 34 mm width. The interior chambers and insulation space between profiles have the elements of fire insulation whilst from the outside there are additional insulation elements installed and so called expanding tapes. In case of fire, fire-resistance is preserved both from inside and outside.

Specially applied thermal inserts used in sash and frame contribute to low heat permeation coefficient. The fire-resistance is supported by GKF fire insulation elements which fill the chambers and steel accessories and connecting profiles. The thickness of filling in profile in MB-78EI is 6 mm to 49 mm.
Fire-resistance in class EI30 and EI60 means that the door protect against fire permeation and reduce the thermal energy for respectively 30 and 60 minutes. The set of two complex glasses joint with 8 mm to 16 mm distance frame.
The first glass is the laminated security glass (in case of break, the glass stays sticked to foil) of 6,4 mm thickness. The second glass is fireproof of thickness 17,3 mm (for fire-resistance EI30) or 30 mm (for fire-resistance EI60).
