The structure of external roller shutters with mosquito nets
The mosquito net is rolled on a special roll placed in the roller-shutter casing. From the outside you can see only a small handle to close or open the mosquito net. On both sides of the window there are aluminium tracks to roll the mosquito net. The tracks are equipped with brush seals in order to seal the space between the mosquito net edge and the track edge.
A mosquito net in open position does not affect the operation of the external roller shutter. We can operate the roller shutter freely without any risk of damaging the mosquito net even if it remains in the open position, covering the entire window opening.
Materials used for mosquito nets are of utmost importance for the reliable mosquito net operation. A strong net made of carbon fibre is characterised by high durability and resistance to weather conditions, while the solid spring mechanism to roll the mosquito net on the roll is rarely damaged for any reason. In the façade and built-in systems the spring mechanism is equipped with a brake to stop the mosquito net. Therefore, the mosquito net can be rolled smoothly and it does not hit the upper part of the roller shutter in the final phase.

While deciding to install external roller shutters in our homes, it is worth considering the installation of roller shutters with integrated mosquito nets.
